Zendaya Shares Her “Dancing With The Stars” Experience
Zendaya recently opened up about her time on “Dancing With the Stars,” and it turns out it wasn’t all glitz and glamour. While chatting with fellow actor Hailee Steinfeld on an episode of “The Tonight Show,” Zendaya delved into what it was really like competing on the popular dance show.
The Pressure Behind the Glitter
Zendaya, who was just 16 at the time, admitted that the experience was “very stressful.” Despite her love for dancing, the competition added a whole new level of pressure. She explained, “It was a lot to handle, being young and trying to balance everything. It’s not just about learning the dances; it’s also about performing them live on TV, which is a whole different ball game.”
A Balancing Act
During her stint on the show, Zendaya had to juggle rehearsals with her acting career and schoolwork. She recalled the intense schedule and how it taught her to manage her time effectively. “I learned so much about discipline and hard work,” she shared. “But it was definitely overwhelming at times.”
Looking Back with Gratitude
Despite the challenges, Zendaya looks back on her “Dancing With the Stars” experience with gratitude. She appreciates the skills and resilience she gained from the show. “In the end, it was a valuable experience,” she said. “It pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow.”
So, while it wasn’t all smooth sailing, Zendaya’s time on the dance floor certainly left a lasting impact on her journey as an entertainer.
